Where do I come alive, you ask?

Where do I come alive, you ask?
Sitting. Simply being. Staring at the grass, the fields, and the rolling hills, those that seem endless - further than the eye can see.
Not a man in sight. No light, brick or road. Bare is the land. Purely organic.
The sun is hinting over the horizon, lighting the blades of grass on one side, creating shapes of light bouncing around through the field. The clouds are reflecting the beams, rolling over and over and over, laughing hysterically revealing color, after color, after color, after color all to show themselves off. Always changing with every move of the sun.
How romantic and purely satisfactory.
Then I see in the distance the eyes of the One I love. He pants as He approaches. His gaze falls upon me. He stares and fixes his face upon the one He loves. He has searched and found the one He desires and longs for. There she sits. He will have her and no other.
His paws beat firmly against the ground as the distance between us shortens. He approaches and opens His mouth. The sun, with all its shine and glory, the clouds, the heavens, the sky, the grass and rolling hills, they all cry, 'Glory. Glory. Glory, to the Lion of the tribe of Judah' in unison. I stand in awe as my King has come to rescue me, to prove His goodness to me.
You ask me, where I come alive?
This. This is where I come alive.

You may be just as confused as I am about the blogging world... or you may be a pro at it. Either way, I am joining this new world with little anticipation and a whole lot of timidity. God has done quite a bit of work to push me into starting this. I have not seen myself as the writing type, let alone one to start a blog. But here I am. So please be gracious to me as I jump on this bandwagon. I hope, in starting this, to share with you a little about the relationship that has changed my life... and keeps on changing it. enjoy :)
